Strawberry Heart Sugar Scrub Bars

This is another one of the sweet gifts I have been busy making for the upcoming holidays. My Mom just loves fancy shaped soaps and these Strawberry Heart Sugar Scrub Bars not only fit that bill but helps her skin at the same time.
I have talked about sugar scrub bars before and why they are so great to use for exfoliating your skin! (see here) This is just another recipe for that wonderful product that you can whip up for pennies on the dollar instead of buying them. If you use the same mold that I do, you will get 2 bars of Strawberry Heart Sugar Scrub Bars from this recipe.
Ingredients/Supplies needed to make our Strawberry Heart Sugar Scrub Bars:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/16 pound (1 cube) mango & shea glycerin melt & pour soap base
1/4 cup pure cane sugar
Simple Serenity Sugar Soap Scrub Mold By ArtMinds
7 drops Strawberry scented fragrance oil
1 drop Cherry colored soap colorant
Glass measuring cup
1. Melt your soap base in the microwave on high for about 15 seconds.
2. Mix in the olive oil, sugar, fragrance oil and soap colorant. Stir well. If it is starting to thicken, put it back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
3. Pour into your mold and let sit for about 2 hours.
4. Pop bars out of mold and store in an airtight container.
