Product Review: Murad Anti Aging Acne Starter Kit
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
I have been a fan of the Murad line of acne products for years, and over the holidays received their Anti Aging Acne Starter kit as a gift. Perhaps I’m a bit old school in this thinking, but I often times find myself doubting any products that claim to do more than one thing at a time. I mean, preventing the signs of aging and fighting acne in conjunction? Those are some pretty big claims in my opinion, so instead of returning it for my tried and true acne kit, I decided to give this system a go.
Much like the famed Acne Kit, this one comes with 4 items meant to use in a 4 step process. A Time Release Acne Cleanser, an Advanced Acne and Wrinkle Reducer, an Anti-Aging Moisturizer and finally a Renewing Eye Cream are the items included. I was skeptical that the acne fighting properties wouldn’t be as strong as what I am used to, but surprisingly it has held up well and I have not seen any skin breakouts in the typical places I normally would when I change products. As for the anti-aging component, well only time will tell with that but I have noticed that these products give my skin some added moisture and it’s starting to feel smoother than before. I fully trust Murad’s line of products so it’s clear that they know what they are doing when it comes to skincare.
